Well I keep screwing up, but here goes some more pics. These vibs were made out of pvc plastic, a 1/40 hp motor and a 3lb bowl made by Gy-Roc. Thanks for looking...Bob ADMIN EDIT - repaired broken images, original code below --------------------------

They look just as nice as the 10lb. units and you answered my question on the bowl. Should work nicely!

Nice ones once again.
I asked in the other topic if you were using and offset shaft, or weight, but I can see in this one a weight in the center. How much weight are you using.

You should try your hand at a home made Lathe for turning stone. Do a search for Onyx Bowls and Sinks. Also Alabaster. You can turn out some really nice stuff.
I have a old Wood Lathe I converted for light duty metal. I have been collecting items to make it handle much larger and heavier objects. I did turn a couple eggs on it the way it is, but I do not like it for metal. Tomorrow, I plan on starting a new shaft and chuck for it.

Utah, I'd like to try a lath for stone but I've never seen one before and I wouldn't know where to start. I'll do a search like you say and see what I can come up with. Sounds like fun! Thanks...Bob

Good work Bob. May I ask what kind of pull (hmmm, what is the proper technical term?) the springs with the T handles have? They work to hold the lid in place ok?
