I'm with texaswoodie, the rocks aren't the issue, it's the equipment. It seems like there is always one more thing that I click add to cart. I just try to get to the bill before she does.

When I was working I had all my rocks sent to work. I would then blend them with the 3 tons she bought me for our 5th anniversary. I no longer shop outside of my rock piles.

That is the great thing about being single, no hiding rocks!!!! However that also means no one to supervise the amount of money I am spending on rocks!!!! I think my son is glad that I am buying more rocks than shoes and clothing, so he could reclaim his closet!!!

I hide rocks in the saddle bags of both our horses when we go to Challis (Idaho). Hubby goes to see the wild horse herd. So do I, but this is also my premiere rock hunting trip of the year. The neat thing is that for the past 2 years, we have made this annual trip with another couple, and the wife is also a rock nut. (She used to hide rocks in HIS backpack on hiking trips!) Last year, when she got off her horse for about the 15th time to pick up more broken geodes and/or crystals, he said “Don’t you girls have enough rocks?” We both told him we could not understand his question, because “rocks” and “enough” don’t belong in the same sentence.

“rocks” and “enough” don’t belong in the same sentence. That is just TOO TRUE! ;D
