Hi, everyone! When I drew the shapes on the new templates, I had in mind two shapes for the intarsia Yin Yang cabs: a classical round one and a "streched" one. Here they are: I made such a cab from a blue lace agate from Africa combined with a cool brown rock with blue spots, that I don't know exactly what it is, I think it's something from Mexico. I have it from kap. Keith or anyone, any ID would be welcome, if you please Llanite - thank you Bob and Keith for the ID. Firstly, the trimming (notice the extra thickness that I left in the fragile areas of the two halves, to avoid breaking): Then, fine grinding the inner contour to fit each other: Glued together with epoxy: Cabbing: And finally, the groove wrapped pendant: Thanks all of you for looking. I hope you had a great week-end and I wish you all a very good week to come. Adrian

What craftmanship. Also, it is blue quartz in brown quartz from Graves Mtn., Ga. Ken

Very nice Yin-Yang wrap Adrian! It looks like you got a great fit between the two stones. Thanks for posting it. It's always fun to see your work. Garry

Wow that is a beaut!!!! Such a great design and the execution is perfect. I'd expect nothing less from you. Its always fun seeing you come up with a new original idea. So how do you make such tight curves? I'm assuming you use a Dremel type tol or something similar.

Thanks a lot everyone! HAHA, Shannon, my own sub-forum would "sleep" for days and days, I use to work in "waves" when the free time and the mood come together, LOL. Tony, no I did not use a dremel tool, but an aluminium disk having diamond resin on its thickness (about 5 mm); the resin band is profiled with a semi-circular shape and it worked great.
