The weekend went really well. I cleaned out the pan with the "wire wisk" dremel bit, primed it with rustoleum and then resprayed it with industrial strength rustoleum in as close to the original color as I could find. I cleaned the bearings and replaced the spent SiC wheels and picked up an ice maker kit from Home Depot (to attach the water supply for the GP6). I wired plugs on to the motors and tested them and I also drew up blue prints for my plywood base for the trim saw and GP6.
In support of my "handle" on this board I have a gash on the back of my hand and my pointer finger, a blood blister on my ring finger, a nasty little cut on palm of my hand, and I busted my ring finger knuckle. Add in the two spots where I removed obsidian splinters on my hands and rubbing in hand sanitizer is a harrowing experience right now. I thought about posting a picture but I decided it would be in bad taste. Most of the injuries came from reattaching the mounts on the motors.
