Man Tony, you are really knocking them out fast! I love them all! Each one has something about it that says, I'm special! I am looking forward to the next group and at your speed, it won't be long now! Fran

Great job on all. That first unknown is a really cool mix of chunks in a milky agate; fun to look at.

I really like 'em all - is that tourmaline quartz rutile quartz? I thought that tourmaline had tourmaline in it and had black spikes in it

You must be on break again. This is another beautiful set of cabs. I never saw Orchid Quartz before and it is a beauty.

Love that last beauty from Jamie. The shapes and stones are all terrific, though!

Nice work Tony. They're right, it's rutilated quartz. The Arizona agate is choice!

Great cabs Tony! Just hard to beat that rutilated quartz. I love that stuff and I really prefer the ones like yours that have just a few rutiles. Charite? You been robbing banks?

Thanks all for the compliments. Fran and Lori, these were all made a during March, I just hadn't posted them. I have about 25 more to post then you won't see another from me until the end of May at the earliest.
Tweety, thanks for correcting me, I shouldn't post until I've had a whole pot of coffee. ;D
Curt, No I haven't been robbing banks. lol This was a very very very thin slabbette I bought last year. I bought it for Amber before we actually met, I knew she liked purple. I never got around to cabbing it and gave it to her uncut. She cut it up into 3 pieces, one for each of our collections and one for her neck. This is a tiny nub off that piece that will go into my collection.

Another super batch, Tony! I think my favorite is the agate from Jamie...I really like what's going on in that stone. How was the Cacoxinite to work?

Nicole, cacoxinte is just the inclusion part of the cab, the rest is quartz so it works like any other quartz based material. I used cerium and had no problems. The first cab I did of this sold before I could even get a picture.

This is a nice batch of cabs. The Sunset agate is great. It is a fairly rare material and nice slabs are expensive. I really like the shape of the Amazonite and unknown agate. The unknown agate is beautiful, like a flaming bush. It looks similar to some of the Bloody Basin plume I've seen.
