Hi all! Here is the first cab that Dennis and I finished from our rockhounding trip with Tony & Chris. This was a little chip I dug out of the trailer. Its Snake River dendritic agate from Tony's claim. I soooo love this stuff! And they were right, on the outside, this material doesnt look like anything special.....but on the inside, ohhhh boy! We've got black dendrites sitting on a backdrop of orange agate..with some gold and silvery speckles throughout. As usual, this was a team cab that I shaped and ground, and Dennis added his awesome liquid polish. Thanks for lookin! And thanks again Tony & Chris for the opportunity to collect on your claims. ;D Shannon

What a beauty! And what a classic work distribution: women doing the hard part and men - the visible finishing touch ;D

Thanks everyone! Adrian, I thought it was just the opposite! Ive got the easy work doing the rough shaping and grinding........Dennis gets a better shine than I do, with less effort. We all have our talents I guess. Shan

Shan: That is a beautiful cab! Me and Tony are just the opposite, I get a better shine and I hate shaping rough, LOL, that is why it is great having a partner that loves the hobby! go make some more stuff! Amber

That is a great cab, you two! And super material. I love that stuff. And knowing it is guarded by snakes makes it all the more impressive T
