The 4th plain cab is beautiful. The obsidian backed are good too. Of the colored, I think the blue is my favorite. What did you back those ones with?

I love those obsidian backed ones! Hmmm.... Stinkingwater plume was always something I never wanted to try because of its name. Silly, huh! These are all terrific, and I love the subtle sparkle added with the coloring agent as well.

Very nice Tony! I like the ones backed by obsidian the best. I have mixed feelings on the colored ones. Very pretty, not all natural BUT YET, with that said.......all doublets and triplets are constructed cabs and are not "all natural" anyway due to the epoxies used. I do like the concept and the originality though. That yellow one about made my eyes pop its so bright! LOL Its also my fave, you know me with citrus colors. Nice work my friend. Shan

Beautiful job! My favorites are the white plume/obsidian doublets. I think Amber cracked it on purpose to keep it You cannot blame her for trying by any means to keep that cab for herself. It is still a beauty. Adrian

Really Great work Tony! I still have yet to try a doublet...I'm such a slacker. I liked the blue one out of the colored ones and the 2nd doublet. I know Amber did that too the purple one on purpose. She LOVES purple! Steve

Alright, I did not crack it on purpose, I had already claimed that one!!! LOL Tony lets me polish from 400 on, thinking I get a better shine, so I was really working that one, and a piece of the white plum popped out, LOL!!! So it was insurance that he couldn't sell it, LOL As foo-foo and bold as I am, I like the black ones best, I liked the purple one as it was a duo colored tint, and it is shimmery, the others I think look a little fake but have good accessory potential, LOL. I think people not in the craft might like them since they are bright! Nevertheless, Tony had a good idea, they are assembled beautifully and I love them all...........of course!!! Although he didn't want my help gluing them, LOL!!!! Amber

Got to go with the obsidian backed ones. I've always stayed away from doing doublets, but can see that's going to have to change. What did you color the glue with on the colored ones? & what did you back them with? Outstanding! all of them. jo

Thanks all for the compliments. The rock should get most of the credit and Glenn for finding it. All I did was expose its beauty. The product I mixed into the epoxy is called Pearl Ex. Here is a link to the website www.jacquardproducts.com/products/pearlex//url]I buy it at at local art or craft supply stores. I think Michael's or A.C> Moore carries it. I've used it in epoxy to fill holes in woodturnings for years. You can also use inks with epoxy for tinting. When I do the black backed doublets I use India ink. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Those Osidian backed ones are a knock out! I traded gem97845 for some of the Stinkwater Plume a while back an now you have given me an inspiration so next spring when I get my Genie I am gonna see if I can work similar magic. Thanks. Karock
