Hello everyone, I finished another intarsia. The materials are unknown to me so any ID is more than welcome especially because to me it was love at first sight with the stone in the center. It takes a very good polish and I like very much its pattern. The frame is also unknown to me; looks like Gary Green, but with brownish colors instead of green. I forgot from whom did I receive them, thank you very much again to she sender. OK, here it is: Some reflection pictures: The central piece zoomed - I even see a scene there, do you? A close-up: The back: Thank you for looking, Adrian

I would guess that the "painting" is willow creek with rare black in it.

That is beautiful! I would guess that it is a variety of brown gary green for the frame and the willow is amazing! I kind of thought of bird shadows when I first looked at it. Fran

Adrian- that is very cool, it reminds me of a hummingbird getting nectar out of a flower, what a great piece!

Beautiful work! I love the combination! I see 2 dragons fighting! One in the air spewing fire out of his mouth & one on the ground.

Beautiful work! I love the combination! I see 2 dragons fighting! One in the air spewing fire out of his mouth & one on the ground. This is exactly what I see Donnie, or something very simmilar - the two dragons fighting over a snake, trying to steal it from each other. Thank you everyone, thank you for the ID also. Sorry for the jaw Mike, I didn't mean it, LOL! ;D Adrian
