Nothing on this side of S.D. but road gravel to collect. Don Now Don, there's that Red Sioux Quartzite. It's real pretty and tumbles very well. It would be awesome if you moved to the Black Hills. No more stiff back and knees from the drive.

Yes it's in Keystone, not Rapid City as I previously misstated. This is what their website says: "Our Shop is open April to October from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. We are open October to March as weather permits, so please call ahead if you are traveling specifically to our shop during these months" 605-666-4813 Awesome!! Thank you so much! I should have read their site a little more. It seems like everything around here shuts down once tourist season is over so I always assume they're closed once fall hits. That's exciting! I've been there a few times before and it's a cool shop and the guys there are really nice.

My advice would be to go to the Rock Shed and talk to Shawn about tumblers. There are other very good internet based vendors, awesome folks active on this forum even, but in my opinion, there is no substitute for face time, especially if you're new to the hobby. Most people here, me included, have nothing but praise for the Rock Shed.
