Krystee, Those are great, I just did a couple Obsidian but the shine isn't that great, how did you do the final one or two polishes? I'm using 325, 600, 1200 and 14000 diamond paste on cloth for all my polishing.

My polishing is primitive. You can get a good shine with 14k (up to 50k is better though). What I do is color my cabs completely with a #2 lead pencil, polish off and recolor. I do this twice with each stage obsidian from 1200 on, sometimes 600 on, just depends on the piece. The pencil method works very well as you can see immediately if you missed a spot.
