Here are just a few that came from my imagination,,,,, Petrified Wood The Quartz Kids (I have them on all sorts of playground equipment) Mini Wind Chimes to hang off the rear view mirror(2 photo's) Rock Puzzles Display some of your favorites in a cabinet Make knobs for cabinets Stick um in bottles and give um away Take pic's of some of your favs to show off Make Greeting Cards But most of all,,,,,,,,,,,, Just enjoy looking at them!! connrock

Tom's got some pretty cool ideas there. I give away some, have turned some into Christmas tree decorations (just add a bell cap and some fishing line), but most just go into dishes or large vases. You can mix different rocks in one dish: Or have a dish of only one type of rock: Or use large vases to hold about 15 lbs of tumbled stones each (got a few of these kicking around now : -Don

Oh, Blizz- yep, I sell them. I've been getting $15 each for them, and $8 each from board members. That's what I tell them anyhow. I always send more than I agree on.

I haven't used the polished rocks yet for this, but will probably make some in a few days. But here is an idea. I've been making lotions, soaps and candles for years now and always doing craft shows and farmer's markets. I was taught last year how to make some soap "dishes" out of the small river stone you get at wal mart in the craft section.
Get some cabinet liner (comes in rolls - kind of a rubbery feeling to it) in the brown. Then you take the E6000 glue and glue the rocks to a square (4in by 4in or 5in by 5in). You want the whole square covered. After the glue sets, these make terrific soap dishes, they are flexible and will sit about anywhere. I have to make several for some orders I have, so will be making some in a few days, hopefully that will help you understand what I'm trying to say here. But when i make them, I wanted to make one wiht some of my first polished rocks, just depends if I have enough in the right size!

Thanks for the compliments on the tumbles! Here's another idea -- if you tumble some larger stones, you don't need a bowl to display them, they are bold enough to stand on their own. Just set them somewhere where they will be seen, but aren't too "in-your-face" -- a window sill, a bookshelf, a bare spot in a cabinet, etc. Here's some big polished stones I let stand on their own merit: -Don

I've sold a few dozen I guess, three for a buck, but mostly I give them away. Fill up a fancy glass or jar and donate for club's silent auction. Just gave my sis enough for every kid in her class.

Fridge magnets are good too. Gorilla glue a magnet to the back of em.
