I had an idea of putting the three tiger eye colors together as an intarsia and this what I came up with. 3-7/8" tall x 1-1/8" wide Varisite Lizardite. I picked this up in Quartzsite from the guy who has the claim in Bouse Az. not to far from Quartzsite. Interesting material. I believe it is a serpentine. Neat stuff to work and, takes a good shine for a soft stone Black Nephrite jade w/ magnetite. I thought all jade was hard. This material worked like serpentine and was making everything black. I think that was from the magnetite. Didn't take a real good shine like I thought it would.

Can hardly see the three individual sections on the Tiger Eye. So, Job extremely well done.
My favorite here though must be the Nephrite.

That tiger eye intarsia is gorgeous! The seams are so perfect that I firstly thought it's a special multi-colored tiger eye from one piece.

I had to google 'intarsia' so thanks for the new word :-) Looks fantastic - I stared at it for the longest time and cannot tell it's multiple pieces.

Gary, after looking at that incredible tiger eye, I thought it would be hard to focus on the rest--but the jade proved me wrong. Incredible stuff you have created!

Thank you all for your kind comments! But I must confess, I broke it right after the initial #180 grind. But, I wasn't going to give it up so I put it back together,"again" and kept going
