Krystee, I swear you are the queen of shine. Most of that kind of material is of mixed hardness too so getting the kind of polish you get is not an easy task. Fantastically beautiful stone but having a bit of a speech impediment, I'd sure not like to have to say the name of that material fast five times. I'd probably pass out *L*.....Mel

The material was surprisingly stable while working on it. The slab did have some pitting which I Hxtalled a week before cutting, but not many more came out while cabbing it. I found out the black is a well silicated Chalcocite and that is what shines metallic. I didn't get hardly any undercutting like I have in the past with other copper ore materials!!!

Beautiful cab, and very clean fingers. It makes for a better photo when washes up prior to.

That is stunning. I have a little similar material from Rodney but nothing that nice.
