Mornin' Don. Wish that I could, I love that stuff! Years ago, I'd try to eat some before donating blood, so my iron level was high enough. (Please, do not inundate us with any additional information on the nutritive value of foods.) Been a while since I donated blood.
Off to visit my parents in a few minutes, do some yard work, install a new florescent fixture in the kitchen. But I'll be back later today.
Have a good one, Don.

Don't run off like that Jean. How can you walk away from so much attention. Your brash departure has damaging impact.
I got a bunch of stuff to catch up on too. Gotta get some duties done too.

Better hurry and get those honey do's done Jim. LOL Should have a bunch of minerals coming today. I'm busy converting centimeter sizes to inch sizes, so I can figure out what size boxes I need for them.

This morning's ag report:
A sudden demand surge for beef liver and tongue has caused a shortage of these items. An investigation is underway to determine what caused this unusual situation.

Mornin Jim. Wife just went grocery shopping, with orders to bring home a mess of beef liver. Jean made me hungry for it last night. Funny, I got gizzards last night. That's pretty connected to a chicken digestive tract. Lee

Never did like gizzards. Too much chewing involved.

I have a question: Are honey do's as important as "my own do's"? Is it vaguely possible for a man to have as many "my own do's" as a woman can have "honey do's"? Is it possible to ignore "my own do's" as it is to ignore "honey do's"? Hey, these are important questions. I have not had any honey do's as an old dude so I may need this information so I can figure out whether or not to marry the forth love of my life or not. I also have not had an old woman to make up honey do's and I am pretty sure I am finished attracting the young ones unless I win the lottery so I need this important info from you old persons (Jean, your two cents would be appreciated since you are not close enough to get a hold on my throat). I did not get off topic because someone else started it. Jim

What topic? The ideal thing is to find the one whose "hony do's" are often the same as the "Jim do's". Some of that comes with riding it out for a few years after the "I do's". After 21 years Elizabeth and I probably agree on about 80% to 90% of what needs to be done, and we can negotiate what order it should be done in without hollering most of the time. Oh, and to get it on topic, be sure to drink some nice strong hot coffee during negotiations. Lee

What's all this have to do with gizzards Jim ? Unless you think you'll get your gizzard ripped out for not doing the honey do's. To keep peace in the house, a man must do at least 2 honey do's to each my own do's. Unless you follow this simple rule, you may get bad coffee, burnt or cold meals and cold feet in the middle of your back in the middle of the night. Not to speak of the dreaded "silent treatment".
(I get the best of my own do's done during the silent treatment). LOL

Don, gizzards can be made tender. Remove the connecting piece of tendon from between the muscles to begin. I don't because I like chewey. Then slow cook in seasoned stock for an hour or two before breading and frying, they will practically melt in your mouth.
