Hey jakesrocks - Don I think the presidential dog should fly with his family too. Just like mine. That is why I am getting an ADA approved vest for my dog. So he can fly with me on any airline, for free! Well, it'll cost me a one time fee of about $100 for the registration and the identification cards and the vest. But them I am gold in any business or domestic airline.

As for the dog flying his own plane, I had to find WHERE you got that from. And, lo... FALSE... never happened... lies: www.snopes.com/politics/obama/bo.aspEven logic tells you that no one in their right mind would 'ship' their dog without them if they had a choice. Why couldn't the President take his dog on Air Force One if he wants to? He can. He does. He has. So why would he need to be shipped separately where no one knows what kind of care he'd get?

And I agree with defunding the useless things too. But when every CEO on earth has a corporate jet (some so much nicer than Air Force 1 that the aging Air Force One is laughable), and the President of Russia, China, and every other nation on earth have, even the teeny ones... you think the President of the USA should fly coach on a commercial airline:)? Putin has a billion dollar FLEET of 58 planes ALONE: www.businessinsider.com/the-aircraft-of-vladimir-putins-1-billion-fleet-2012-9?op=1What do you think maintenance on that fleet costs? A $75,000 TOILET on ONE of them (he must think he craps gold). And the President of the US should be laughed at by the heads of state of every other government, even the teeniest nations? Obama will be the President for only 3 more years. We don't know who will be the next President. But you think the most powerful man on earth will fly on a commercial aircraft with no protection? Or should? Who would even run for that completely thankless office? The smartest man in the room is already paid less than 1/10000th times the richest CEO. Maybe he should swim or walk to his destinations? Even if I agreed with you, do you seriously think that could happen:)? Helen, just what in the hell are you spouting about this time ? We were talking about Bo flying in his own plane, instead of flying with Prez & family. Nobody even mentioned his royal highn - ass flying commercial. Obama's canned news, or independent news.

Hey Don! Those articles reference this one.Well, at least they were well dressed! Oh! How quaint. The dog gets the inaugural flight. That's 'cuz they prez, he don't fly lite I'd love to see what previous presidents spent and how many hotel rooms were taken. At least his spokes-hole only makes minor attempt to justify it.

How many vacations per year have they already taken at the taxpayer's expense? Helicopter? Do you not know the difference between a helicopter and an MV-22 Osprey? But I suppose they might have flown it in this configuration: Guess I can see how you might have easily been confused.

Does Obama actually hunt, or just shoot skeet in front of a news crew?

Did you notice in that one and only shot of Obama shooting a shotgun, the puff of smoke was well behind the barrel ? Speak of a lame, staged propaganda pic.

When does Obama have time to hunt? He's too busy going on vacations and making private arrangements on FANCY helicopters for his dog:).

He's too busy going on vacations and making private arrangements on FANCY helicopters for his dog:). Now you're beginning to understand! And a MV-22 Osprey is NOT a helicopter. Last I checked, helicopters did not have wings.

Dateline today --- www.newsrealblog.com/2010/07/18/believe-it-or-not-obamas-dog-flies-to-maine-on-his-own-private-jet/OK, I really don't know if Bo has his own personal jet...but I really doubt it. Just because something is in print, does not make it actual fact. Regarding the url provided by "jakesrocks", the picture of the dog, (I am sure we are to believe it is Bo with his flight cap and being in the cockpit with the pilot) is NOT, I repeat, NOT Bo. As you may or maynot be aware of the fact that Bo is a Portuguese Water dog. I know a Golden Retriever when I see one!! My point is that if they can not even get an accurate photo of Bo and his personal jet, how can we believe what we read in print on some of these so-called news sources? That especially goes for the Liberal, pro Obama news sources.
Oh, and by the way, there was no claim that the dog in the pic was Bo. The left wing flappers would have been all over that news agency if they had claimed the pic was Bo.

Oh MYYYYY!!!! That must be Bo's body double!!! The REAL Bo doesn't have a left white 'sock' that comes up his entire forepaw to his elbow, his 2 white 'socks' are roughly the same size... hrm... it's a conspiracy! How low will the Repugs go?

can't seperate Bo from the Osprey dog in those photos. High part of white sock inside leg not visible in osprey photo.
Don't eff with me on animal identification. I had to be able to ID specimens I sold; years later in some cases.
