I've collected blue-G with the nice guys from Hand to Mouth and I can tell you that what I'm seeing in #3 is absolutely not blue-G. It's a night and day difference.
I also concur on #1 being burro creek.
Other than those I'm completely useless :-)

Thanks Tommy, I cabbed a piece of the mystery green rock, hmm maybe thats what I will name it:) I will post a pic later tonight. For anyone still reading this thread, is is safe to just call #2 Owehee Jasper?
Thanks

I think the second may more likely be Ochoco seam material ("Ochoco Green" or "Ochoco Ditch" jasper) than Owyhee. There are a couple of locations that have similar coloring.

1. Arizona burro creek jasper. 2. Low grade picture jasper. 3. Wyoming feather agate. 4. Sodalite. 5. can't really tell from pics, perhaps also sodalite. 6. Blue Lace Agate 7. India bloodstone or fancy jasper. 8. India green tree agate.

awesome! I'll concur on the bloodstone. Just lacking much red spots. RE: estate sales being picked thru. Dontya think the original owner might have picked thru his own stuff! Like I said there can be terrific finds (as evidenced here), but much is average.

Ah ha, yes the owner would have picked throught it, ya got me there! All I meant was this was never piced through after the fellow died. It was all moved to a shed at a lake and sat there till I happened to tell a coworker that I played with rocks, and he told me about all the "crap" his wife had stored:). There is some nice stuff and there is some garden rock too, I took the good with the bad and it all worked out well.

Your #7 green jasper looks EXACTLY like what Tony sells/calls "Owyhee Green" jasper. There is a lot of green jasper though in Idaho that matches that. Much of it is very hard and take a fantastic polish. Good luck.

Mark and Helen, thanks for the links and ID. I think that the green material may hav actually came from Tony, it's possible it got mixed up with the estate sale. I think you nailed it perfect.
Thanks again
