Did some searching, but couldn't find the tutorial I was after on the net. Just several references saying to check local libraries, universities, etc for "The Art of Making a Cabochon" by Walter Peck. IMHO, the absolute best how to you'll find on learning how to cab. I have a printed copy, but don't have permission to post a copy on the internet. Wouldn't want to mess with the mans copyright anyway. If you can find a copy, I strongly recommend it.... I used to make every student I taught who was serious and had promise sit down in the class and read the 9 pages or so. And everyone immediately had the light turn on and started doing much much better cabbing. So, got a university library nearby where they can do an interlibrary loan for you if they don't have it?
