That picture you posted of the moon is really good, manofglass Ed and I must say my heartmoon not to shabby either

what is the faint star just west of & in the south real close to moon ? I know Mars is up there Venus and Mars are very close to the Moon,both are very bright stars to us on Earth...It was Mars you were seeing...

Nah I don't think so Mike this star was real faint and just parallel to the middle of the moon on the right side very close!
I saw Venus it was to upper left of the Moon and Mars was up higher on the leftish side
I got more pictures that show it as a blue blurry dot I couldn't hold the camera steady matter of fact my heart moon picture shows that dot amazing photo! mohs
