Where do we actually go?
I have never been there and I always thought it was tiny like Brenda. (it isn't)
So where is the actual location?

Desert Gardens is on the west end of town on the south side of the freeway, Tyson Wells is a mile east of Desert Gardens. The Rice ranch area is just east of Tyson wells. The Main event is across the free way from Desert Gardens. QIA is on the north east corner right up against the freeway. Those are pretty much the main shows with a bunch of little stuff fit in all over the place.

Mikeyrocks n I are here! The town is small so you can figure it out fast. Big billboards that say Rice Ranch, Desert Gardens etc. There is lots of empty spots for vendors but they are filling up now. My fav the tent style scratch n dent grocery store is open now!!!

Ain't goin this year. The place is going to be full of disease and pestilence, the govt is going to declare martial law and block off the roads so nobody can get in or out and ebola is going to wipe out 78% of the population with an agonizing death. And this is the good scenario.
Or not. Good luck to all that get to go. I gotta be here helping my son. Jim

I need to find the addy of a friend that stays in Quartzsite in the winter months... Her husband died several years ago and they use to be the greeters at the local RV Park...Heck of an old gal.... They use to bring me rocks from the vendors there, when I lived in ND.. Her name is Marlene Heth, big gal,but loads of fun...Has a mouth like a trucker too-LOL......

You don't need much information. Quartzite is a pretty small, and obvious place. Desert Gardens is a pretty relaxed RV park and immediately adjacent to a large vendor area. I was expecting to have to rough camp in the desert, but non electric sites in Desert Gardens seemed to be readily available. Folks are friendly. Wave a $5 bill and an Australian will run up and shove a rock in your hand. Wave a $1 or 2 and Tony will reward you with a slab or 6. Did I say folks were friendly, and like to talk rocks. I enjoyed meeting all the RTH folks and many vendors and while I only stayed a couple of days, I did arrive home wishing I'd bought a bit more (especially the exotic stuff from Australia, South America, and Asia. It was all there and at bargain basement prices in my eyes. Tom
