Larry, I visited Goober's webpage - WOW! I think it is great that you took so many photos of him, a great chronicle of his life. I think you knew from the get go what a special dog he was going to be.
Hope you both get healthier, and God willing, we'll meet someday, do some hounding. Looking forward to it.

This is such an awesome picture Larry. Goober looks like he was on top of the world sharing your guy's love of the desert and off roading etc.

Hey Tommy. Nice to hear from you again. It's been about a year. I know, need to get with the program and stop screwing around. Actually this pic is closer to the bottom of the world. It's Trona Pinnacles, just south west of Death Valley. Near Ridgecrest. Actually it's like Mono Lake but drained of water. Same formations. Many movies & TV commericals are filmed out there. Great place to camp & explore.

Larry I am sorry for your loss...I too had Thunder cremated...Some have asked why and I tell them he was an inside dog ...Right now he is in his bed by the window surrounded by his favorite toys...A couple of songs I have listened to to find a little coping are John Lennon ..Beautiful Boy and Eric Clapton ..Tears in Heaven... Sometimes a lyric just sticks in a memory and it keeps it going...I hope you and Diane find your happy place again as we will be trying to find ours....John

Yeah John, those who can't relate, I figure it's their loss & our gain. We're the luckly ones who ended up with the exceptional critters. They're more into the gold fish league.
I don't know about you but I'm going crazy with the silence inside our house. So boring. Miss the sound of squeak toys in the background along with unearthly sounds coming out of Goober. Miss being interupted while watching TV by having a wet soggy toy shoved into my face. Since Goober followed me around the house for 11 years, I'm still looking down making sure not to step on him. Plus cats are starting to take over our yard!
