My plan is to disassemble the bracelet and attach and re-solder each ring one at a time as they are added to the bracelet.your work is very nice, may we see more. Dave

Yes please metalsmith please show us some more. Dave if you don't have to solder it maybe consider what metalsmith says. I can see a huge PITA soldering it as he says, especially if you get the bloody rings sticking together:)

Thanks, Arrowheadave - that's good of you to say. Of course, there's more but I always seem to be running a bit behind on my photos. I have plenty of articles lying around.
FYI I put a couple of different ones on my earlier intro which might interest you a bit more. I appreciate this is a rock tumbling forum so maybe small flush-sets are not your thing. Which is a shame as I have quite a few, small emerald, ruby, sapphire. I'll see what I can rustle up.
Honestly, been there, done that. It's undoing it that is really time consuming. Have you learned to 'unsolder' yet?

Actually we are in the smithing section and I would love some tips on Gypsy setting, that is flush setting right? I bought some 2mm stones for just that reason:) I don't know about Dave but I know I would like to learn how to unsolder and expect others would too. Welcome to the group.

I'm in Yorkshire, England. Any cycling fans may have seen the place feature as the 'grand-depart' of the tour de France the other year, and since held the Tour-de-Yorkshire. I'm on the border of nice countryside - the Bronte moors, for literary fans and the cities of Leeds and Bradford.
Got to shoot.

It is probably quicker and easier if I post this linke of a video by a guy from diamondsetting4u.com - since a) it's ready b) he's a pro
Maybe you've already seen the black diamonds I set after watching this video?
