Sorry, Charley, can't seem to remember how to spell your name. Haha nobody can. That's my fault I stubbornly insisted on that spelling.

Hey, nobody says you can't be different. Too bad he pays the price for your decision, lol.
My sister always spelled her dog's names funny. Whyler, Keetah, Honkie, Pooters

Wicked blower !! Looks like Mr Rockpicker made that one. Looks like a powerful rig. I have a back pack blower that has been used to blow the soil off arrowheads in a camp spot. Mostly for blowing leaves, but sure will expose artifacts in softer soils. That boulder you guys dug up !! Idiot child james made this blower about 20 years ago. Bought the blower from a junk yard for $200. Welded frame and tail wheel, adapted drive train to 40 HP tractor. 260 MPH (calculated) wind speed for burning piles of trees, blowing leaves and sticks. It was rated for small solids, so you could shovel gravel into the intake and make a great weapon. Sold it after clearing my land for a pretty penny to adjacent land owner whom was clearing 300 acres of forest and needed to burn the piles. It has been sold to several farms and was still in service for many years. Guessing it would have moved some dessert sand to expose new rocks quite well. May cause ranger to frown a bit. If you walked by the out flow it would blow your legs out from under you.

No, the blower was manufactured by a company, don't know much about it. It is pretty old, we bought it used from a friend. Phil had said it looked like one that went with a Keene 151 drywasher.
For your big blower, $20 did sound a little cheap, $200 more like it.
Was that red Toyota truck what your current green one replaced?

I removed the gold carpet and replaced it with an artifact basket. Use it in Florida to dredge sand for artifacts. It sucks about 4 yards of sand per hour. fun Old truck replaced green one, yes. It had over 300,000 miles on it. it would go about anywhere and did. How long were you guys out there being gophers ?

I thought so, you like those Toyotas.
We drove out the day before TG, arriving about 10pm. Dug, classified and ran dirt Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Did a little (very little, only a couple hours) of rockhounding Sunday morning, then drove home. Dark by the time we got home.
Still managed to bring home about 3 buckets of rocks, though. I work fast!
