Dave, did you purchase the rough chrysoprase? That's a beautiful set. I could see any woman wanting a stone like that. wink wink.

Which company did you buy from, or was it from a friend or another member? I want to look into it. Maybe not buy any, just look.

I don't want to split hairs, but chrysoprase tends to be green as a result of Nickel. Chrome chalcedony is different, although at my last check, the term Mtorolite wasn't an accepted term. None of which matters to the result which is lovely and you have induced such a fine polish (again!)

I, too, love the simplicity of these. The silver work perfectly complements the stones. I think a good jeweler should always try to let the stones speak (as they say).

None of which matters to the result which is lovely and you have induced such a fine polish (again!) Correct, Mtorolite (Chromium Chalcedony) is a completely different stone than Chrysoprase. As probably the largest importer of Mtorolite in the U.S., I do want to make sure people know the difference. Thanks for clarifying! As far as it being an "accepted term"... It's recognized as a trade name in mindat.org as well as gemdat.org. That's good enough for me. By the way, @arrowheadave , beautiful work!

Hi adam, I don't believe @arrowheadave bought his from me, but I am a large importer of this material into the U.S. If interested, we can talk via PM, etc. (Sorry for highjacking the thread!) Jeff
