There was a post setup the same way. "Insert the cool phrase here - something about being careful choosing your elders" - Grandpa (forgot the name) 1967 So I tried to be funny again. I guess I need to stop

So I noticed that every time Cylindria her label goes around that her label "flashes" me. She is so flirtatious. The saucy minx. - Grandpa Patrick 2017 That was still good for a laugh!

This afternoon I have had time for reflection and I apologize to the Admins, Moderators to Scott and everyone here on the forum for the condescending remarks that I made over the Cliff thing. Since having the STROKE my main spring is wound a little TIGHT and sometimes I don't use my best judgement when replying to comments. I appreciate everyone's help that has been given to me, and I hope I wont be judged by this incident. Sometimes my Progress is not where I think it should be and I get depressed. I have learned much since my life changed on July 13th Thanks ~Duke

We would find the triggers to make the weak souls spin up. The really easy ones it was more of how many times could you cycle them per hour. I "almost" feel bad about it, but usually the guys who you were able to make mad like that were assholes anyways.

And I will add for the record that yes I got in trouble at work one time for trying to joke around with a coworker. He would not have lasted on a submarine at all. Also he was the type that thought his 10 years of union experience was superior to my 20 years of naval experience. I just stopped doing anything akin to that with my fellow union workers, luckily I was actually alone at my work site most of the time with the nearest co workers about 200 miles away. Also thankfully a right to work state.

I count my blessings and have much patience for those less fortunate. You inspire me. Truthfully. No apology required on my part. My skin is pretty thick. Just don't make racist statements (like someone did) and we will be friends for a long time. You never have here, likely never will. Good on you! 🍻

Keep poking and poking. What Cliff said/wrote was not racist nor did he intend it to be taken so. So don't imply that he did. But that sure didn't stop you from running to TPTB to tattle and try to get him in trouble. Grow the F' up.

Stop defending unforgivable behaviour. It's unbecoming of an officer. I didn't run anywhere. I put it back in his face. In fact, I was accused of electronically punching him in the face. That is why I was on the naughty mat, lol. He ran to mom and dad. I handle my own business just fine. No help from others. No clue what tbtp is. Lol[ETA]I just Googled that. This is what happens when you get your info from the wrong source.[/ETA] The truth and the higher moral ground is on my side. That is how I roll. Some folks don't like that. So be it. Have blessed weekend. I will! 🍻

I will state it publicly.
Cliff can come back and I will still ignore him. The only way I knew about that comment was someone quoted him and those ain't blocked.
No ill will towards him. Just not interested in his  1000* per day. Nor any racist comments. Those are bad for the entire community.

The majority of that 1st post (other than have a Blessed weekend) is incorrect.
"No ill will towards him" in the 2nd is laughable.
Good night.

Anyone who hasn't gotten the opportunity to really get to know Cliff is missing out on a lot . Yes , he was one of the most active members on here for a while , is that a bad thing ? Yes , him and I hijacked a few threads in the past , is that also a crime ? We both got a lot of messages from members saying how we made them laugh and brightened their day . Has no other thread ever gotten a little sidetracked by other members ? Take the time to read some of the past threads , you will see what I mean . I have gotten to get to know Cliff through many many PMs and emails . And I will say he sets the bar for honesty and values . Most only read the heehee s and jokes he was always posting , probably another crime to those with no sense of humor . Is adding up a high post count another crime ? If so , I think there are a lot of other members who are a bunch more guilty than Cliff . Did I vote in the poll ? OH HELL YES !

Having thought on it, I'm back before spending the evening with the wife unit just to add -
"Have a Blessed weekend" was a nice touch. I say have a Blessed day to many as we part. I'm just not sure what it means coming form a self-proclaimed atheist. < curious >

I can't grant it to you, but I can wish it for you. I could be wrong ya know! Have a blessed weekend!
