Just received the box and cracked it open. I'll get everything out, see what's inside and do my thing. It is stuffed!

Alright everyone! Here's the list as it stands. You have 24 hours to request to be moved to a different place within the list if you wish to. These request should be posted here, as everyone that would be displaced due to your proposed move will then have 24 hours to say yay or nay. If they don't speak up, then their vote will be counted in favor of the change. The list will be counted as finalized in 48 hours. If you are good with your position, please like this post or comment, so I know you've seen it! 1) Garage Rocker - Kentucky 2) Tommy - California 3) MsAli - California 4) fantastic5 - Tennessee 5) melhill1659 - Mississippi 6) Wooferhound - Alabama 7) ubermenehune - Nebraska 8) TByrd - Idaho 9) meviva - Arizona 10) zarguy - Utah 11) fernwood - Wisconsin 12) Luminin - Ohio Thank you, ~Cody

If anyone else wants to be later, I can be moved up to 8 at the most. Just thinking that Wisconsin is between Tennessee and Nebraska, well sort of. If not, I am fine with the current list.

That is what I'm thinking, Alabama does not offer the best rocks. Got a few picked out that should be winners. You said "Y'all", that is genuine Alabama language.

I am also getting my stuff set to the side. Have a decent mix-throwing in some stuff that I've self collected from MN, some stuff that I've bought & some stuff that has been given to me.
(I was in the navy-All the southern boys and girls got me stuck saying Y'all )

All of my rocks are self-collected. I have been stressing about what Rocks I could contribute. I don't buy rocks.

The pieces I have selected are the ones that I really want to tumble myself. But I've got plenty of rocks to run through the tumblers.

I'm hoping it's warm enough here tomorrow to get the tile saw out. There are a couple chunks I'm wanting to take just a little piece of, and leave the rest. If not, I'll just grab something else, so there's room to add something of mine.

I think the only thing keeping everything in that box was sheer will power lol. I'm not sure I'd ever had to be strategic in packing a box before that π

I have the box repackaged and ready to go out to Tommy tomorrow. There may be as much tape on the box as rocks in the box. That thing is solid. It came to me stuffed full, so I had to make some room in order to get anything in there. Finally got a day in the forties today, so I was able to get the tile saw out. There were, and still are, several big pieces in there taking up a lot of room. I decided to grab a few and break them down. Here are the pieces I cut:
I kept the small, tumble sized pieces of Unakite(?), something black, and the smaller portion of, what I guess is, Indian Paint Stone. There is still a nice thick portion of that left.
Still, I needed to make some space so here is the rest I removed from the box:
I really liked the small, colorful Flint Ridge piece and crazy lace. I also took the bigger chunk of Flint Ridge, but don't worry, there are still three more big chunks in there. I couldn't fit my stuff in there without taking it.
Here is the material I added to the box:
Someone with some trim saw skills should be able to get a few unique tumbles out of this KY agate piece.
And also a couple Bahias, some Botswana agate, a decent Montana and a pre-ground Rio.
Hope everyone down the line enjoys the box, there's definitely a lot of material to look at. And some nice, soft, velvety pouches too! Thanks for putting this together, Cody! (I didn't take any of your pouches, by the way. They must have worked...nothing broken.)

Looks great! That black stone in the first picture, I'm 87.92% sure that's more of my flint... Probably... π€π€π
Garage Rocker, that colorful piece of flint is a part of the hunk I spent hours chiseling out of the wall of flint. Walt ( manofglass) cut it for me. π I'm particularly proud of that one. π

I can spend the Flint Ridge meet and greet drinking and talking, instead of swinging a hammer. I think that little piece was well worth all your sweat and tears, now that I have it. I'll be sure to send you pics when it's done! Thx!
