That is an awesome tumbled stone. captbob set the new definition for "big tumbled rio" though. 6 pounds and up to qualify. Chuck My PVC barrels are limited by 4 inch rocks. Thumlers and Lortones have those full width caps. That may not be the only problem. I recently did a 3 pounder and it was not wanting to take a high polish. Could have been the rock but I think it was my method. Surrounding it with small media may be the key.

The pinnacle of rock tumbling! Great roll/vibe! Hey slacker, where have your tumbles gone ? I am a slacker.... I've got 4-5 batches that I need to photograph. Might have to do a best of, or something. In the meantime, I'm really enjoying your Rio shows! BTW, go check out the George West Thread, under locations. Might be a good starting point for your next Zapata trip.
