Well, I wouldn't ordinarily have many cab pictures this time of year. It's so nice to be cabbing year round. red and gold moss agate DSC 4629: I think this is Brenda agate- correct me if I'm wrong. Very intense color and polish DSC 4627: Guadeloupe jasper DSC 4625: some kind of flame agate DSC 4624: OJ with druzy DSC 4623: Barite- crazy soft with a liquid polish. This may go in the cab contst with a Mohs of abt 3 DSC 4622: pacific coast picasso DSC 4621: tabu tabu, I believe. a small cab DSC 4620: MT agate DSC 4619: bone DSC 4618: small chrysoprase DSC 4617: nipomo marcasite- the red is a reflection DSC 4566: sm nipomo DSC 4565: I posted another one of these almost identical- LOVE IT DSC 4560: kambaba DSC 4559: the same large nipomo- showing the yellow DSC 4558: shattuckite- you can't see it really but there is a small pocket of blue fortified agate near the top. DSC 4556: a mystery jasper DSC 4555: Thanks for looking!

More nice ones. Like the 1st one. Most of my moss agate is packed with moss so I like the ones that really show it off.

They're all beautiful, but the Guadeloupe is sweet and I'm drooling over the Nipomo!

Amazing. Just when I thought I had a favorite, another one appeared. For colors=the OJ with Druzy. For shape= small chrysoprase. Overall appearance=I posted another one of these almost identical- LOVE IT. What is the last one?
Glad you can now do year round cabbin' Bet you will love it.

Beautiful cabs Tela! I find the Flame Agate, Pacific Coast Picasso and Barite cabs especially appealing. I enjoy your presentations+++!

That "identical" one is chrysocolla and the last one is some kind of jasper, not really sure what it's called, but I like it. I'm already lovin' it! I found an easy way to get the stone off the glue dop, too. Yay!

I love the pinks and eyes in the last jasper. Curious to what type it is.

I love the pinks and eyes in the last jasper. Curious to what type it is. I have some Ocean Jasper that looks a lot like it. I have a hunch that's what it is. Nice batch Tela. With you cabbing 12 months a year now we can look forward to lots and lots of new eye candy.

Beautiful cabs Tela! I think my favorite is the Guadalupe poppy. I love that stuff.
Last one is as Gemfeller said Ocean Jasper - I might have sent you that one - if not I have a bunch of it that looks exactly the same. Bought a big hunk of it at Madras year before last.

Tommy and gemfeller It sure didn't cab like OJ. I have never seen any like it, either-- BUT I do think you sent that Tommy. So, I guess it could be an OJ.

It's been a while since I worked on it because I got tired of trying to shape it so I started doing a rough shape and tossing it in the tumbler.

I have wondered about getting a vibrating tumbler myself. But, I have spent a fortune on tools the last month or so- it'll have to wait.

Tella I have been using the vibe for some time now love it. I take mine to 600(try to leave the bottom edge fairly crisp) then into the vibe. Only have to have 4 wheels that way cheaper more room to work on the grinder er cabbing machine keeps my fingers in one piece

I don't call them cabochons when they are flat tumbled. It tumbles very nicely and I give them away as gifts.

They are all beautiful! The shattuckite really caught my eye- That mystery jasper reminds me so much of a piece of OJ I have.

I always look at your cabs because of the amount of work and dedication you bring to your work. It shows up in each stone. Thank you so much!!!
