I am working on something jamesp will probably complete this afternoon enough to post pics of it in progress. Totally different for here, a two strand beaded bezel for a glass cab. Very time consuming, considering the materials I am using. Wish me luck, as I have never done one of these before. Just trying to think outside the box. For some reason reactive glass comes to mind when I think about you fernwood. Using natural materials from the farm for instance. Anxious to see what you are contriving. You know the glass art folks are often very conservative. Well, the gal at the glass supply place for instance, I offered her a 30 pound bucket of the colorful blown glass scraps the other day for free. Her retort, "what COE is it", I said 96. She said "I only work with 90" Well, she can melt this scrap together and not use any 90 ?%$#@!. Narrow minded child. Even after I explained, she did not want it. I find this "thinking IN the box" a common mindset w/these people. Double melt from vase, went from lady's lips(sensuous) to serious Sic Fi theme based jewelry. Theme jewelry is hot. If I had a good camera these would blitz you. Maybe not our style but certainly marketable.

jamesp I take your comment as a huge compliment. Re-use, salvage, etc., is how I was brought up. I love the sci fi theme. As long as you are experimenting with themes, how about a Southwest theme? Will post work in progress soon.
