There are varying grades of mtorolite, ranging from plumey, included material to gemmy, translucent material. I have rough of both but haven't cut any of the included stuff yet. The gem grade cut up nicely.

I buy and sell (and cut) fairly large amounts of Mtorolite... and I've never run into problems with it undercutting before. (Hopefully you didn't get yours from me, or I'll have egg on my face, LOL.) I mostly have people asking me for the mossy variety, and have never had any reports of it misbehaving.

Just kidding - no I got it at a gem show. I'll try another piece and mix up the method a little bit and see if I get the same result.
