Yes jamesp I can now see... It was only on for a few seconds... but... Not one of my better ideas. It probably stressed every tac-weld in the frame and inside of the motor where the shaft went through. I hope I did not cause more damage. Glenn

Glenn Live and learn. my big Vibrasonic will shake 6 pounds to 50 pounds depending on the hopper attached. Turn it on with no hopper and it starts ricochet maneuvers. The more weight you add the less movement at springs and hopper. I don't think added weight hurts anything but may increase loads on motor bearings, not sure.

I completed repairs on my Lot-O - new springs. It is now nice and quiet, and no longer dances across the garage floor. Internal motion is steady and good.
