Not only is the shine nice but the shapes are pleasing also. Very good job. Now kick the shine up to 50k and make 'em so shiny they look like they're melting.

Nice stuff. I just finished a batch of Lake Michigan/Superior odds and ends. I need to steal your tumbling recipe to get that polish! Anyone know the ID for the one in the 2nd picture?

Wowza, those colors! That is a really awesome variety of shinies.
...and that half sky blue and half grey one in pic #4 is just killin' me, that's so incredibly cool.

I was out in the shop last night and a opened up the Tupperware Container that this tumble was in and they didn't look very shiny to me. So back in the Ultra Vibe 18 they went. I started them at 500 will run 4 days and there and continue on to the Polish Stages. This is good because I believe I have Improved my Tumbles and Recipe so I am glad that the second look did not satisfy me. I will try and post Identical Pictures and see if everyone can catch if the shine improves or not.

Don't know, looks like you got plenty of shine on those...unless you've already switched out exact replicas of the original pics. Anyway, really liking the green and reds in 7,8 that come from the Lakes. Also, that two-tone blue and grey that was mentioned earlier. Nice work.

Most everyone on here knows My Wife MaryJane and I do Glass Etching. Maryjane now and then looks at something that she did when she first started doing it and makes a comment like Id throw this away If I did this now. In other words the quality gets better over time or the longer you do something. Well that's how I felt about these. my Recipe is better that I am using as is the steps that I use and the in between care I take when polishing them produces a better product. I will be able to tell if there is an improvement so time will tell. Thanks Randy

Those look great from here! What will you do with all your tumbles? I give mine to kids. It appears with 8 tumblers going you would have enough tumbles for half the kids in Michigan.

Right at this moment I have 10 Tumblers Running (2) Lot O's (4) Thumler B's, (2) Lortone QT-66's, (1) Diamond Pacific 40-T (1) Thumler Ultra Vibe-18 Prolly Over 120 lbs Shakin and Bakin One friend of mine asked me the same question, he said Duke what are you gonna do with all those Polished Rocks?............... I thought Minute and Said......... You know all those marbles I lost over the years? .... He Said Yeah.... I said well looks like I got em a replacement for em! No really my wife will integrate them into the etching business making Jewelry, Sell Some, And Give some away As Gifts. And of course replace my marbles!

Love them, I did some beach rocks from lake Michigan and Superior too and have a bunch more to do when it warms up. You did a great job on them.
