Slightly off topic question for mossyrockhound or other textile gun users - Is the stream a mist or jet? Online videos appear to only be a mist. I've tried everything to get old paint out of crevices on a brick fireplace surround. Paint strippers removed the surface paint, but not from the holes, cracks, etc. If it wasn't in my living room I'd use a full size pressure washer on it. Would a textile gun be worth trying? Thanks!

It's a 1600 psi (approx.) stream about the size of a pencil lead. I think it's worth a try.

I think that it would be worth a try. My limited experience : feels like a mini pressure washer. I let the stream pass over my fingers and it is POWERFUL!! I look forward to finding new ways to use it.

Thanks all for the advice on cleaning. I started with oxalic acid and got some improvement. Then switched over to phosphoric acid (rust remover) soak overnight then scrub with a stiff bristle brush. Rinse and repeat. About 10 days of this and it is looking better each day.
