I updated my drawing from an old post. Use two old credit cards and a Ty-Wrap to spread the water drip onto your grinding wheels and sanding belts.

Wow you must have been reading my mind! I am in dire need of a water spreader. Thank you! Gotta figure out how to attach the whole assembly to my hood though.

I drilled a hole 1 inch behind the water input and used a #8 X 3/4" bolt with washer underneath, lock washer and nut on top. Here is a better bottom edge to the spreader.

It's an old Lortone arbor. The one I made my supergrinder on. Huge overhang of the hood, would have to hang the spreader from the inside of the hood.

I use the cheap green pseudo scotchbrite pads cut into strips. Spreads out the water and reduces spray.
