That is one very well designed pendant! I really like how your texturing mirrors the marcasite, how the stone almost seems suspended by the circular wire, and your decision to use a hidden bail. Thanks for the feedback. It is the first time I went the hidden bail route. I could not see any way around it. I have to say that it still amazes me to see the solder flow between such a minuscule joint!
I've also never used tubing for a hidden bail, but it's a cool idea. Did you file/sand a flat on the tubing? I may try that in the future and maybe slightly flatten the tubing, too.

I used repurposed hoop earrings for the bail so the minimal wall thickness did not permit making a flat. If you have tubing of an adequate gauge making a flat would be a great idea.
