mohs, Sorry not to respond sooner. Thanks for the welcome to AZ. Don't mind the heat as long as I can afford the A/C bill! Barring anything unforseen I'll definitely see you at the Prescott show in Aug. if you come. We're still in such a tangle after the move I'm wondering if I'll ever get back to cutting again -- my shop's a mess and I have lots of work to do to get things up and running. As it is I'm still unpacking, hoping important stuff didn't get left behind. No time for side trips yet but we're hoping to get to Phoenix and other nearby areas when it cools down a bit.

I can certainly relate. So much to do, and about 2-3 hours before it gets hot to take little bites out of it.

My shop's in the basement so it stays pretty cool but we've been so busy just getting the house organized I haven't had a lot of time to focus on rocks. As you say: little bites. I have to get lots of electrical work done before I can run my equipment and demand for services here seems to far outweigh the supply of technicians.

gemfeller I will be running 2 new circuits in the space we are initially using for a shop, hope to finish the first and install a swamp cooler next week. Fathers day gift to myself and Elizabeth. I usually just get a minimum service call from the electricians to check my work and be on hand when the inspector arrives, if I do it with permits.

That cool Lee !
Don’t sweat it to much If installing the swamp is big hassle
In just a couple more weeks We’ll be entering the slog of summer
That when the dew points and humidity rise Making the swamp less than efficient
Nonetheless air moving is better than none
I worked in many a grind shop through Phoenix summers w/ nothing but swamps
So it can be done But Not pleasantly
Although I was lot younger, summers may have been somewhat milder, w/ my nose to grindstone; for a few beers. Good work if you could get it
