3 weeks ago there was a man working for a company that I pour concrete for, he was laying pipe in a 25' trench that caved in on him. They unburried him just below his chest. He was still alive and he thought he was gonna be safe when the wall caved again killing him. The retaing barrier that was in the trench was around 15' tall. The law around here is that the barrier has to come to 6" below the top of the trench. Can we say law suite?

After we talked, Dave I'm glad you made the post. There ain't no excuse worth 3/4 months of non-payment. Like we talked about Dave, even if your father died, you still go home and you still pay your bills, you still buy food, gas pay the rent. Why not pay your debt and thank the person that sent you the FRB for making a day a little bit brighter? I don't play that crap and no one here should either. We all post and talk to each other, When someone posts some rocks for sale and you take the initiative to answer or PM another about a deal, then to flat out not pay, even the shipping for a FRB. That sucks. That shows what kind of person they are.

So what I have to say is nonsense? Sei un asino muti. Don't start your chit again. You pissed off a few people last time you talked chit about someone. For someone that is supposed to be educated, you can be so ignorant sometimes in the way you talk/write to others. It isn't a maybe, I just watched the show again and she did say $1.00 a pound at the Ashland Ranch. The last ranch she dug at, Sweethome Ranch she also said "a few bucks a pound, depending on quality". Not a couple bucks a pound.. Yes I am splitting hairs. A couple is 2. A few is normally 3. As for the value they put on the wood at the end of the show, I don't think they were that inflated. Both men agreed that the big polished slab was worth $2.50 a square inch and at 60 s.i. that is about $150. The "standup" after it was faced and polished they both agreed it was worth around $45. The little "round limb" after it was faced and polished, worth around $20/$30. Go into a large city like Chicago, L.A. Washington D.C. or even New York and look at some of the prices they get for polished rocks, specimens. You'd be surprised. Do a search and see the prices. Here is a link, www.cmpetrifiedwoodandmore.com/polishedpetrified.htmlThe show is not geared for the lapidarist or the excelled rockhound, or even the lapidary expert like deb193redux is. It is geared for the average joe. It shows what is out there and what can become of something anyone can go find. Don't take my assessment on the show, it might be nonsense..

I tivo'ed it and watched it tonight. They did say on the first dig that they open to the public a few times a year with a cost of $1.00 a pound. I think most people got it when they said something about the 200# wood was worth around $5000, after it was all cut and polished.
Brand new show!

The printer plug has male pins coming out to go to a female plug on the computer. The weather station plug also is a female plug. Damn female things...

Mine look that good, wet! Takila don't know what she's talking about. She didn't read the part where Randy said the pic. taken wet. I rolled mine for a month in 46/70, 2 weeks in 220, 2 weeks in 500 a week and a half in 1000 then 2 weeks in A.O. polish. Outta lets say 40 rocks I got maybe 3 to shine nice, the rest just a matte finish. maybe I'll getmine out, squirt them down with water then take pictures of them, just for Takila...

I thought about getting the usb adapter but, when people use the usb adapter with a Lacrosse weather station, it sends the wrong wind speed info, alot of people get a wind speed spike of either 57mph or 28.4 mph. I have been reading on the weather station forums that it's a common problem. I did find some serial pots on ebay for arond $10. How hard are they to install? The port I have on the back of the machine is for the printer and it is a femaile plug just like the one for the W.S. thats why I can't plug it in there now.

I have a cable that came with the weather station, one end is like a phone jack male pin that plugs into the weather station display unit and the other end is just like the pin for a printer but has the female end. I have no port on the back or front of my machine to hook the end to. Here is a pic. of what I have,

I just got a real nice weather station, the kind with the rain sensor and wind vane, all wireless or wired. It came with software so I could get it on the internet and download all the data to the computer. Problem is I need a pc com port on my computer, which I don't have. What do I need to do to put a com port on my machine? How much do com ports cost?

Men need to be more alert and cautious when getting a drink offer from a girl. There is a drug available in liquid form. The drug is now being used by female sexual predators at parties to induce their male victims to have sex with them. The shocking news is that the drug is available virtually anywhere! It goes by the street name `Beer.` All girls have to do is buy a `Beer` or two for almost any guy and then simply ask the guy home for no-strings-attached sex. Men are rendered literally helpless against such tactics.

The difference between Harley riders and Goldwing drivers:
Harley riders: "Live to ride. Ride to Live." Goldwing drivers: "Eat to ride. Ride to eat (Ed's note: That's me!) =) Harley riders: "Loud pipes save lives." Goldwing drivers: "Honey, will you turn down the radio?"
Harley riders: Black leather jacket and chaps Goldwing drivers: Red snowmobile suit (now that's funny) Harley riders: Black leather vest with chain closure and skull and lightning bolt on the back Goldwing drivers: Gray twill vest with trading pins and GoldWing Road Riders Association chapter patch on the back
Harley riders: Meets other riders at "The Dam Ice House" Goldwing drivers: Meets other riders at Denny's Harley riders: Biker Mama on the back. Goldwing drivers: HER Mama on the back.
Harley riders: Cross city ride ends at topless bar. Goldwing drivers: Cross country ride ends at Dairy Queen. Harley riders: National riders group meeting called "Hog Rally". Goldwing drivers: International group affair called "Wing Ding".
Harley riders: Riding in groups of two. Goldwing drivers: Riding in groups of twenty. Harley riders: Ape hanger bars and (proctologists dream) splinter seats. Goldwing drivers: Big wide seats for big wide butts.
Harley riders: Rolling thunder. Goldwing drivers: BarcoLounger with wheels Harley riders: Dew rags covering up steel plate in the head from riding without a helmet. But looking COOL. Goldwing drivers: Helmet with headset and microphones, covered in reflective patches
Harley riders: "This beer is flat, let's trash the place." Goldwing drivers: "This cappuccino is cold. Let's only tip 10%."

Really? We have potheads and rabble rousers in here? I don't believe that for one minute! A few years ago, I was thinking about buying an Indian to put between my legs, she was an old bag though. She looked great, with big 'ole headlights and a nice tail section. When I thought about buying that Indian sweetie, I thought I could just use her and ride her for a while then unload the old bag to another biker. It's just to darn hard to get parts for an old Indian Chief motorcycle....

I bought something on Ebay from London, Ontario, Canada. The shipping cost was not high, only $8.88 but the seller is saying that shipping will take 3 to 4 weeks from there. I bought a CD from Canada last year and it seems like I got it in a week, not 3/4 weeks. How long should it take to get a package from London, Ontario, Canada to the states or Wisconsin to be exact? Here is the only thing in their ad that they said about shipping.
