Love the flow of your swirls on the bail! I think it really compliments the linear pattern of the stone.

Welcome back Condor! I was absent for a while too, but missed RTH and have been dropping in more often. Nice to see a familiar name from back when!

That's the BEST kind of 'garage' sale! The Royal Sahara is nice. Yes, love to see the slabs too!

Here's mine! Saw Villafane, Master pumpkin carver on my Fb feed, and started having fun every Halloween since. Happy Halloween everyone! That's terrific! Where did you find the pieces that you used for the arms and legs?
Those are foam and posable arms, legs, and comes with a stem that have wires to poke into the pumpkin. If you google it, it comes up at Plow and Hearth, Walmart even! You can get them on sale and have them for next year

I enjoyed your video, thanks for making it! I think you got some great looking stuff! I love the green variscite, when I went years ago, I assumed what I found was turquoise, but it looked a lot like what you brought back! Thank you for the nice words, Dee. I had fun out there, and making the video. If you wanted to share pictures, that would be nice if you had one or two handy. I am glad to hear that you had a chance to visit the Otteson's too! I'm having problems getting pics up here (getting back into Cloud thing) but I did post about it on a now unused blog! Here it is: rocknwire.blogspot.com/2016/06/royston-turquoise-mine-tour.htmlI have pics there. You did better than I did, I really love that green! Who knew it was variscite? Seeing your haul makes me want to go back again! Rock Hobby field trip?

Welcome from another Southern Arizonian! Tumbling was my 'gateway' drug into sawing, cabbing, and then jewelry making.

You inspired me to give it a try, and I'm super impressed you can make one in a couple of hours! Took me all day to follow a tutorial to get through almost one! How much do you sell them for at your shows, if you don't mind me asking?

These are very cool! I like the blue cord with knots that look like leaves. Where did you get your tutorials? I used to macrame a lot as a kid, this looks fun to try!
