My friend Frank and I just came back from a trip there yesterday. Looks like it's still open so far. Weather should stay cool through the weekend. After that, 90's feels like 100. Lol.
Amazing how quickly those rocky canyons can heat up, even when it's only 75.

I have an iPhone and my wife's S7 takes far better pictures. Richer colors and depth.

It looks to me like Friday is the day to take a run at it if you can. Our long term weather forecasts (and sometimes short term) in San Diego are notoriously inaccurate because of the shape of the coastline, the ocean currents and the mountains east of us, but the hourly forecast is calling for showers 8-10 am on Friday then just some scattered showers until Saturday afternoon. Then the skies are supposed to open up. Soooo.... I'm thinking Friday or early Saturday are worth a shot.

One of my favorites. Right up there with Stoddard Wells. About the same size show and you get to look at all of the old steam engines and old, some real old, heavy machinery as a bonus. See you there.

All of your picks are very cool!!! I love the old red crazy lace. Almost impossible to find the real good stuff (not just red stains) and when you do...$$.Those slabs are awesome. Same for the Maury Mtn. You dun good!!!

My opinion is WOW! Never seen anything like it. Doesn't really seem like Bruneau color palette. Maybe the most colorful Chapenite ever! Looks like it exploded then healed. Craig
