I should be so lucky to "fumble" something so badly. Well done, jasoninsd , well done.

I think I must have led a sheltered life. I never did Shrinky Dinks as a kid (or as an adult for that matter). But in my defense I vaguely knew what they were
Shrink Tubing is much more useful
Patty
Then did you ever get to do any of these? LOL Shrinky dinks RULE! Man, they kept my girls occupied for hours. I really think we had some pretty COOL toy-type things when we were kids!!

I was always the tomboy, my cool toy was matchbox cars and making roadways in the dirt for them
Patty.... who left the Barbie's for her sister

How about the original Creepy Crawlers? I remember when they we re-released. My kids were a little too old for them.

When I got old enough to play in the street, then there was Skully, or stick ball. Both city games I suppose.
Bet they don't let the kids play either anymore, since you're technically out playing almost in traffic

I'm calling BS! I don't think one is ever too old for Creepy Crawlers. In fact...I'd still do them today! LOL (Kinda sad...but that's really true! LOL)

Yeah...definitely a "city" game. We had nothing but empty FIELDS...so we would play actual baseball (with our own rules of course! LOL).

Yet...it's still an "oldie but goodie"! man tela you just reactivated a distant buried memory w/ those creeper crawler recall walking down to GEMCO super market at 27th ave and Oregon to check the box out no money and it was close to Christmas probably '64 A shot of a young Mohs eyeing that special present he wanted for Christmas that year!

How about the original Creepy Crawlers? I remember when they we re-released. My kids were a little too old for them. Shoot, what's that say if I remember when they were released? I never had them, but I had friends who did. Good times back then. Ahh, a staple back in the day. Lord knows heads would explode nowadays. And liveoak, matchbox was a staple, but things changed when Hot Wheels were released...at least for me. I wish I still had some of the original toys. jasoninsd, I'm sorry for continuing the Hijack.

No apology necessary for hijacking...'cause I'm just going to continue down the road this is leading! LOL This was one of my favorite toys "back in the day"! I used to make ramps out of anything I could find around the house...much to the chagrin of my mother!

aDave I remember when they were released, too. As a matter of fact, I had the original Thingmaker. That was a favorite of mine. Back on topic: jasoninsd all of these wraps are fabulous! It's hard to pick a favorite out of them. The Blue Lace stands out to me though. Even though it's more frilly than I would wrap, it's definitely eye catching and elegant. I really love that one and would wear it.

Evil Knievel has the world record for broken bones at 433 in his lifetime. What I would like to know is how many broken bones he was RESPONSIBLE for...because I know I just about broke my neck a hundred times trying to be like him on my bike! LOL

Interesting course this thread took... Normally I derail Jason's threads pretty early on. Those are some nice wraps. I remember when the Blue Lace cabs were fresh off the cabber! I love the weaving. Toys wise, I grew up with the little toy cars as well. My brother and I used to get the ones that you could pull back and the would drive forward on their own, and crash them into each other. I'm guessing that's where my love of smashing stuff came from, turning to rocks in the past few years.
