I don't think any of them do - at least not for raw metals. I don't recall ever seeing any. Different jewery supply companies generally have certain tools on sale or close-outs, but that's about it. |

I swear I bought some wire last year through someone doing a Black Friday deal...but danged if I can remember who it was I ordered from! I know it wasn't Rio Grande. I got some wire and some jewelry boxes (the kind you give away with the jewelry) both at wicked low prices. Maybe it was just some other kind of sale and I'm confusing it... It makes sense that you're saying it wouldn't likely be on raw materials...dangit! LOL |

www.jewelrysupply.com/ says they have 70% off--they have metals and tools, but I didn't look at their prices--they may still be over-priced. But it's probably worth a look.

I jumped on their website real quick to see the prices on copper wire. I did the calculations. JS's 22 gauge wire is 20' for $6.08...while Rio's price is $22.50 for 511 feet. So Rio's price is definitely cheaper for wire. Thank you so much for posting this as a possibility! It looks like they do have a bunch of stuff they offer at some great discount prices. I might have to look through some of their bead stuff! |

I have been purchasing items from T-Bird since the 1980's. Their quality and prices are great. The monthly sales are more than great.

Can we move this from the wire-wrapping section to the main forum...or wherever you think is more appropriate so any of the lapidary sites might get mentioned...and not just wire-wrapping? |
