Started on 9/11/2022 and finished 1/5/2023 - 116 days Kinda fun to track the progress. I'm still not super stoked about the bottom, but I had to run it full to see what would show up. I played around a little bit on my flat lap, but clearly didn't go far enough for some of the deeper cracks.
The different layering is amazing and some pink moss showed up after a polish, I'll get some closeups tomorrow. Thanks for checking 'em out. For the in-between stages you can look at the album here

I just love seeing the before and after shots! Thanks for taking the time to do that!! Those really look great! Are those two you picked up at TRS when you were here?

I've got some others I'll add eventually, but this is one of the better ones.

I know it'll sound crazy, but as I scrolled down and saw that first picture it immediately looked familiar. The last two pictures...well...I must not have looked at the bottom of the rock before! LOL

I think you'll like them

They look great when finished. Love the in-between shots! Thank you. The tracking of your weekly tumbles inspired me to do this. So you deserve some of the credit

Those look great and I’ll echo the other comments about how nice it is to see progress pictures from start to finish (and the steps in between).
Series of photos like this should be included in every tumbler’s guide to show the time and patience it takes to take those things from looking like a potato to breathtakingly polished beauties.

For those who did not see the in-between steps that Son Of Beach posted, here is a thumbnail view: From my own experience, it's a lot of effort to keep track of the progresses. I really love seeing these.

I really love seeing these. That was a really awesome thing to do PS!! Thanks for doing that!! *If you glance real fast from left to right, it looks like one of those old "flip books" of the progress!

Love the before and after pics and the progress thumbnails. Great to see the progress through the process. I need to do this myself. Thanks for the pics. Hardest part is remaining patient and actually snapping the pictures. I always had to look back at my initial shots to roughly get the angle and size on the stone the same.

Thanks for sharing! I love the before & after. I’ve got some bahia’s in Stage 1, week 3. Mine don’t look anything like yours yet, but I hope they turn out as well as yours did. Beautiful!
