The three slabs arrived today. I cut up the largest one. The next largest one is very close to the largest. Based on how I cut, the usable space on all the slabs are about the same. I am willing to relocate one of th remaining slabs.  |

When I was in Central Oregon a couple of years ago we went to the Polka Dot Agate mine. They had a lot of amasyth sage agate for sale. I bought a bucket full. Nice material. You might check with them.

@bluejayrocks thanks for the info! stardiamond those cabs turned out nice! If you were looking to give one up I would be more than happy to buy it off you. rixrocks and to whoever else.. I thought Amethyst Sage was only mined at a mine in the mountain ranges of Nevada? Is it also mined at the Polka Dot Agate mine or was a bunch of it just transported there? |

Tracie, I bought extra slabs because I thought you might like one. The larger one on the left, I paid $20 and the smaller one $19, plus combined shipping. Here are the two cabs I made from the larger piece:   The three slabs were cut from the same rock and for me, the usable area is about the same. You can buy either one and I will mail in a padded flat rate priority mail envelope for $10. |

Tracie, yes, the Amethyst Sage was trucked into the Polka Dot site by the owner. He mines it in Nevada along with Blue Mountain Jasper. Nice people btw.
