Really good way of showing both. When I go to rock shows I always like to see a cab and its parent rock. You did an excellent way of displaying them. Thanks.

Oh my gosh, Ed. Those rocks are beautiful in just their rough state. The cabs are almost indescribable. Where oh where did you collect those and does Southwest fly there? I would have wet myself just finding such beautiful rocks. What are they?

Thanks all. I got right to work on the cabs after I cut into these rocks cuz I was amazed at what I found. Zotika-no fair asking queseions only a geologist could answer. I found these at a lake located in Morgan Hill Calif, a short distance from where the poppy jasper was mined.
The first one is a blue agate and the other ones are jasper, I think. The site is listed in the Rockhounding California book and the author said to look for blue/white agate on the south side of the lake, which is where I found these. Can't wait to get back there.

Ed, Darlin' Should you come across a large quantity of the blue agate, I know of a particular southern belle that would be willing to pay high dollar for even a small quantity of said rock... Beautiful stone, great find, just kiddin cookie
