Dang, keep it up and you'll be the doublet king lol! Those are all super nice! After drooling over all the amazing doublets being posted on here I finally got some 330 epoxy to try it out. I'll try to not get hooked lol.

LOL! I kept scrolling down going ... that's my favorite- no, that's my favorite... Can't pick one, honestly. These are your best, yet. Thanks Tela! It's funny...when I set these out to take pics, I put them in order of my "least" favorite to most favorite! It's a close call on a couple of them though! LOL Yer gonna run outta Basonite. Eventually!! I might have to get super stocked up on Basanite when the weather clears! LOL Dang, keep it up and you'll be the doublet king lol! Those are all super nice! After drooling over all the amazing doublets being posted on here I finally got some 330 epoxy to try it out. I'll try to not get hooked lol. Thanks GF! Maybe the "Doublet Dummkopf"! LOL Good luck not getting hooked! I love making cabs...but there really is a level of excitement for me when doing doublets! - If you have any questions, tag me...and I'll be happy to assist if I can. The first two with the hint of pink are my favorites. All are great! Thanks Chris! I've got a bunch more slabs of the stuff that has the pink in it. I'd like to see if I can get some more done that has more pink plume than yellow.

I also really like the first two w/ the pink plumes & the shape of the first one is beginning to grow on me. And I especially like # 5 with that long white plume against the mostly black background.
Peace, Rich

Peace, Rich Thanks Rich! The shape on numbers 1 and 6 were both slightly altered from the regular shape I do. Both of them had issues. Number one, the agate chipped off when I was doming it...first time that's happened. And number six...I tried something new. I used tile nippers to trim off the excess Basanite before I shaped them on the wheels. It worked pretty well...except on number 6 where it chipped the Basanite under the agate. So, I had to take an inside curve at the top on both spots on the cabs in order to get rid of the "issues".

Jason, suffice it to say that I am always amazed at your cabs and their perfection. As for your fear of addiction: 1. Are your fingernails always ridiculously clean? 2. Are you breaking into strangers' vehicles at Walmart to leave cabochons? 3. Are you planning a "back splash" behind the stove constructed of cabochons? 4. Do you have a set-up with flashlights and/or candles and a dedicated generator in case there's a power outage? 5. Are you drinking coffee at 2:00 a.m. to stay awake to cab?
Three or more, and you're over the edge. Two means you're in the danger zone.

Three or more, and you're over the edge. Two means you're in the danger zone. Thank you so much Susan! 1. Yes...but they are also almost nonexistent from too many brushes against the wheels! LOL 2. No. Definitley not breaking in....but I have checked to see if doors were unlocked! LOL 3. No. Although that's a great idea! LOL 4. No/Yes. It's not "setup"...but during the last storm we had, I did actually picture trying to cab by candlelight. Then I realized if I didn't have power, I couldn't run the cabbing machine! LOL 5. Yes. This, sadly, has happened on more than one occasion! LOL I'm not sure if those answers put me borderline or not! LOL

Good looking cabs. Per usual Thanks my friend! I might have to mess around with the backing color and see if they come out better, worse, or same old same old...
