WOW Stoner that's BEAUTIFUL!!!! About how large is that peice and did you tumble it or polish on a sander? I have a piece the size and basic shape of a medium egg, that I would love to see perfect like this one. Great Job I hope to finish something near that.

Hey Spaceman-yaw mon-spliff. Sorry I forgot a size reference, it is 1/2"w X 7/8"h X 1/4" thick at the top of the dome.

WoW that's gorgeous. I can't believe the colors in there, it's almost like flames swirling around in the wind. That's really beautiful Ed, you do such great work.

Thanks everyone. This is the first time I've done anything with carneilian and I must say, I like it. I picked it up off ebay. Alice-Your cab does look like it may be the same stuff. It takes a really nice shine.
Xenas-I just used the standard, shaped it with an 80g wheel, and refined it with 100, 220, 280 Nova wheel, 600 belt, 1200 belt, and diamond paste on a leather belt.
