First is a chunk I self collected. I have a smaller self collected chunk i'm considering using for the contest. The three slabs were ones I purchased. Just got back from a business trip and finally got them outside. This is what I consider the cream of the crop when it comes to Eagle Rock Plume. Most of this will only receive a face polish and displayed for collector purposes. The smaller chunk will get made into cabs more than likely. Enjoy

That's some really nice Plume
The last time I went through Eagle Rock there was a Huge Porcupine in the way then a Big Bobcat crossed the road....

I dont normally buy material. However... the three big slabs were listed as $45 for all. They are 3/4" thick so I will be able to split them and get extra slabs. I've only seen eagle rock of this quality in collections that were held by the original person to mine the material Shirley Quant. From my knowledge on the original material, there was never much of this style dug. Why I wanted to share it with you all.

Cool material. I like how there’s both black and brown plumes.

Thats not pretty.
That is damn gorgeous. It looks like tree branches and leaves partially buried in snow. Thats the kind of thing people spend a lifetime looking for.

More examples of the variety of Plume that came out of Eagle rock This style I call a confetti plume. There was white and pink plume that came out of there as well

Cool stuff. Before I zoomed in on the pic I thought it was a man made cab of some sort of epoxy with glitter in it. Confetti is a good name. 👍

I'm reviving this old one today - this is from before I joined so I didn't see it right away. So.... wow those are beautiful. I was browsing plumes still trying to find those plumes lapidary1234 posted the other day. (Not that I'll ever find them, but they are another plume keeping me up at night - sooo pretty) Anyway - realrockhound - these are better specimens than some I've seen in online museums. Wow!

Best ones I’ve ever seen were in Shirley quants collection. He was the original guy to dig it. Would love to have my hands on some of that.

I cant seem to find an online gallery for that person/mine.
