So these guys I got from Randy (RWA3006 ) have now been going in coarse for 6 months. At the last cleanout I was able to move them down to the 6 pounder.

I finally got a few bits polished. I polished one big chunk because I just couldn't wait! It has a few imperfections, so I'll throw it back in coarse at the next clean out, but I wanted to see what it would look like with a polish on it!

I will say- this stuff is beautiful, exhibits a lot of variety, and takes a stellar shine! As stefan said it does undercut. At this point it seems about the same as pet wood (maybe a little less) in terms of propensity to undercut.

I had to go back and revisit these turdlets and I showed them to a rock hound buddy and we think this might be the best polish job we've seen on coprolites which are a difficult medium because of undercutting issues. The only other polishing job I've in this class would be some of the work Alex agatewhisperer has done. Bravo.

If we were able to carry the love and tolerance shown here into the world as a whole and get anyone to follow the example set, who knows what could be born from that?

Ok here are about 80% of these guys polished after 9 months. I started them back in August. There are only 3-4 that have no undercutting, cracks, or voids. But, they took a nice polish and have some really cool features.

This one is definitely the coolest:

This one is from JH Kalmore

This one I found in a creek. I thought it was Coprolite, but after polishing it - it obviously isn't. Still cool though.

These are the ones left that I need to get through the vibe next.There is one more blue one in there and the big one is nice and solid, so I have high hopes!
