jasoninsd the execution of those cabs is exquisite. Thanks Randy! I had never heard about Holt Canyon until aDave sent me a chunk of it. I fell in love instantly! LOL Beautiful cabs jasoninsd , awesome way to showcase the material! Thanks Ashley!  I think whoever ends up with this rough is going to be thrilled!! The agate from Wyoming is SO like Montana Moss Agate. I remember there being an agate from Wyoming talked about some time ago...and it was called a Sweetwater Moss Agate...to me, it totally looks like what Randy is offering. Randy, could the WY agate be Sweetwater? Yes, that's exactly what it is. It gets its name because it's found in the West end of Sweetwater county. I feel nostalgic about it because it's the first species of rock I ever rock hounded. My folks dragged me out into the boondocks when I was five and I had the time of my life picking up this material. The area this is found has a beautiful, stark quality that's special and it happens to be along the trail where settlers came out West. Maybe I'll dig up a few photos of the area... |
