Genesis. It looks like the beginning of the swirl. Another example of Sands work. They have to be felt, and seen to be truly appreciated. He has he touch.

I also see the apple, and with the other colors, I'll go with:
Golden Delicious
Okay, the more I look at it, the more I'm drawn to the other colors and shapes. I love the reds and tans thrown in there, so I'm changing to:
High Desert

I say FireFox ... no wait I have something better.
This has been hours bubbling up to the top of my conscious mind since I first posted. I wanted something that said energy, primal, moving, floating, other-worldly for the bright foreground shape, and still had the concept of landscape for the cab's background. I think a lot of other entries have been hitting in these areas as well.
I started thinking of the rift in the universe idea from the TV show Sliders, but that was not round and was sorta electric blue. Plus there was only one.
I thought of white cells in the immune system that travel around eating pathogens, but the landscape thing didn't work so well. This felt close however. There are more thanone, and at least to the pathogen they are large and powerful. Biology is also so primal.
I thought of wormholes, lots of energy - but the background was not cosmic enough.
Possibly a school of jellyfish or man-of-war - the floating bit is there; but alas no tendrils.
Then it came to me while I was trying to focus on my dissertation - Langoliers. From the Stephen King novella in Four Past Midnight, and the 1995 movie Langoliers.
In the story, the mysterious creatures called Langoliers are in hot pursuit of our stranded protagonists who find themselves in a deserted world where clocks don't work and where everything is steadily being erased. The Langoliers' job is to erase moments in time that have already passed into history, and the characters have accidentally and unfortunately slipped into the past. Just how is complicated, but imagine your confusion and fear if you suddenly found out that what you thought was the world was actually a movie set and it was being torn down and you with it.
Anyway, I don't even remember what the creatures looked like in the movie. In my memory they are like big PacMen, or a photoshop eraser tool steadily wiping out a picture from one edge to another. Or maybe the old b-movie blob creature.
So I say Langoliers. They are otherworldly, they are powerful, they are primal energy instantiated, they travel over the landscape. There is more than one of them ... it just fits.
It is not perfect because I think Langoliers would be dark energy. Perhaps these are their bright cousins who are slightly in the future constructing the world before the present arrives. This fits the creation theme folks have mentioned. I just don't know what name the cousins would be called, and if I did, nobody else would recognize it.
Now I really have to get back to dissertating.

I think a good name would be "The Passageway".

First thing I thought was the same idea as Docone31. Sure looks like the beginning, so my name would be "Creation" !

Hey John. I keep looking at the great job you did on this one and it just came to me. In the orb I see a white human figure and it reminds me of a Star Trek episode where the alien was turning into pure energy. So my new name is....ABSOLUTE ENERGY

Neat Cab John - I Like it!
My suggestion is:
[glow=red,2,300]HELIOS[/glow]- (Greek) The sun god, son of Hyperion and Theia, brother of Selene (the moon) and Eos (the dawn). He drives the chariot of the sun across the sky.
