Everyone, I had no idea it would sell like this so I'm going to pause the sale for a bit to allow me to get orders boxed up and see what's left. I'm really busy at my real job and I anticipate it will take several days for me to catch up. Thanks for your patience and we'll resume the feeding frenzy as soon as we get oriented again. Thank you all, Randy Yeah, I bet your post office will be just as thrilled with you as mine was with me when I sold all of those boxes. They weren't real surprised when I came in pulling a full two wheeler. |

One thing for sure, the post office will get the heavy packages to their proper destination. They don't want to handle heavy boxes more than they have to.
**Edit: I once mailed six large flat rate boxes from Flint Ridge Ohio to myself. I got home before the boxes did and was able to enjoy the sight of
them being delivered. I met the postal worker at my mailbox with a hand truck. She asked "What in the world do you have in them, ROCKS?"
We put a bottle of wine in the mailbox for her at Christmas.

Friends, to my surprise all that poo sold out within just a few hours and I don't have any more to offer on this deal. It was actually one and a half 55 gallon drums worth.
Please don't despair if you wanted some and didn't get an order to me on this deal because I'm always cutting and the supply will be replenished soon. I'll again make a killer offer when I get the supply built up a bit. I still have 13 tons to cut (literally) and I suspect I'll be offering coprolite for a good while yet here at RTH.
Thank you to everyone who bought poo and I hope you have a lot of fun with it. Randy

Pat, there's been a fair amount of research done by paleontologists in the area and the consensus is they were mostly vegetarian hadrosaurs of numerous species. There's significant skeletal remains within the coprolite layers that point to this and as far as I can tell it's a reasonable conclusion. |

Thank you so much, Randy! I received my box yesterday and there are so cool looking specimens in there. Looking forward to slabbing/cabbing and some tumbling too!
It's not everyday you receive a box of poop you are happy about!

Elaine passed two years ago and we spread her ashes upon the land of coprolites. Denzil is still with us and I visit him every Sunday night. He is the true coprolite king and I calculate he has picked up more than any living person. My conservative estimate from looking at old photos is about 30 tons. He also harvested immense quantities of dino bone in the 1950's through the 80's. I wouldn't be surprised if much of the bone on the market today was originally sold by Denzil. |
